Request Deletion of Your Gentree Account or Personal Information
Gentree Pty Ltd provides company-managed digital workforce and operational platforms that help organisations manage workers, forms, workflows, compliance records, and day-to-day operations.
If you are a Gentree worker or user and would like to request deletion of your personal information, you can submit a deletion request without being logged into the Gentree app.
How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your personal information, contact Gentree at: team@gentree.tech
Please include the email address associated with your Gentree account and clearly state that you would like your personal information deleted.
You do not need to be logged into Gentree to submit your request.
For security and privacy purposes, Gentree may need to verify your identity or account details before processing the request.
Company-Managed Accounts
Gentree operates as a company-managed workforce platform. Access to a Gentree organisation is managed by the company or organisation that provides the service to its workers.
If you are a worker or team member, your company owner or administrator may manage your access to the organisation, including removing your access from the company account.
Removing a worker from an organisation does not necessarily mean that all personal information is immediately deleted. Some information may need to be retained by the organisation or Gentree for legal, employment, audit, operational, or compliance purposes.

What Can Be Deleted?
When a verified deletion request is processed, Gentree will delete or de-identify personal information that is eligible for deletion, subject to applicable legal, employment, audit, security, operational, and compliance requirements.
This may include personal account information such as:
Name and personal profile information
Email address and contact details
Login and account information
Personal information associated with your Gentree user account
Other personal information that is not required to be retained
The deletion of personal information does not automatically delete information belonging to the company or organisation you worked for.
Data That May Be Retained
Some information may need to be retained after a deletion request where required for legal, employment, accounting, audit, security, dispute-resolution, compliance, or other legitimate business purposes.
Company and Operational Records
Information submitted or created as part of your organisation’s operational workflows may be retained according to the organisation’s account settings, business requirements, and applicable legal or compliance obligations.
This may include forms, safety records, checklists, reports, documents, or other business records associated with the organisation.
Account Information
Personal account information may be deleted when a verified deletion request is processed, except where information is required to be retained for legal, security, employment, audit, compliance, or other legitimate purposes.
ChatTree Messages
ChatTree messages automatically expire and are permanently deleted after 24 hours. Deleted messages cannot be recovered by users.
Company Owners and Administrators
Company owners and administrators are responsible for managing worker access to their organisation.
A company owner can remove workers from their organisation through the company’s Gentree system.
Removing a worker from the organisation does not automatically require deletion of company-owned records or information associated with that worker where those records are required for business, employment, audit, legal, or compliance purposes.
Workers who want their personal information deleted can also submit a request directly to Gentree at team@gentree.tech.
Before Requesting Deletion
If you are a worker using Gentree through your employer or organisation, please understand that removing your account or personal information may affect your access to the organisation’s Gentree platform.
Information belonging to your employer, organisation, or other users will not be deleted simply because an individual worker requests deletion of their personal information.
Where records are required to be retained for legitimate business, employment, legal, audit, security, or compliance purposes, those records may remain available to the organisation as permitted by applicable requirements.
